Location: Hybrid role based in Zurich, Switzerland, with availability to travel to Poland.

What you will do

• Define and own hirify.global’s AI-first data strategy and vision.
• Oversee and evolve the data platform architecture built on Databricks and AWS.
• Guide the team in building scalable, performant, and observable data pipelines.
• Champion data democratization and enable self-service analytics leveraging AI.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers and a business analyst.
• Establish standards for data governance, quality, and compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years leading data engineering or analytics teams.
• Strong experience with modern data architectures (Data Lakes, ETL pipelines, Databricks, AWS, SQL).
• Fluent in English.
• Passion for how data enables AI, from model training to intelligent analytics.
• Hands-on engineering ability in pipelines, transformations, and data modelling.
• Experience advocating for data democratization and self-service analytics.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
