What you will do

• Drive the technical direction and architectural decisions of the development team.
• Implement and refine microservices-based solutions.
• Mentor and coach developers through code reviews, pair programming, and growth discussions.
• Identify, prioritize, and reduce technical debt.
• Improve quality through CI/CD, test coverage, observability, security, and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong development experience (10+ years), including at least 4 years as a Senior Developer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot stack.
• Solid knowledge of microservices architecture (service separation, API contracts, resilience, event-driven architecture).
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, and testing strategies.
• Ability to clearly justify technical decisions and communicate them to business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Estonian language

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Experience with process orchestrators (Camunda, Flowable)
