TL;DR

Operations Specialist: Serving as the onsite operational backbone for the Porto office, blending IT, People, and Operations Support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and employee well-being. Location: Hybrid. Must be based in the Porto, Portugal area and willing to work onsite 2-3 times per week. Applicants must be authorized to work in Portugal.

Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 annually

What you will do

• Provision, deploy, wipe, and manage laptops and basic IT equipment, primarily MacBooks, and conduct New Hire IT Onboarding.
• Troubleshoot common employee IT issues (connectivity, password resets, access) and maintain accurate inventory of local technology assets.
• Support employee onboarding/offboarding, act as a first point of contact for HR questions, and coordinate recruiting logistics.
• Own day-to-day office operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, and manage office vendors, supplies, and facilities coordination.
• Coordinate meetings, calendars, visitors, and logistics for onsite and hybrid teams, supporting leadership visits and cross-functional meetings.
• Plan and execute office events, team meetings, onboarding activities, and celebrations, supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in IT support, people operations, business operations, or a similar hybrid role.
• Comfortable performing hands-on technical tasks such as laptop provisioning, basic troubleshooting, and asset management.
• Experience with Apple OSX, MacBooks, Google Workspace, and OKTA.
• Must be willing to work onsite in our Porto, Portugal office 2-3 times per week.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Bilingual in Portuguese and English; strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in Portugal and currently live in the Porto area.
