What you will do

• Handle and configure Primary and Standby databases using Data Guard, performing failover and switchover processes.
• Apply performance tuning techniques and resolve issues related to query slowness and resource utilization.
• Lead and implement database upgrades and migrations across various platforms and versions.
• Perform data refresh using datapump and RMAN.
• Work with AWS services for database management and migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
• Automate various DBA activities using UNIX Shell Scripting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Extensive experience with Dataguard, RAC, ASM, RMAN, and OEM.
• Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience handling Oracle databases on the AWS cloud platform and familiarity with AWS services.
• Proficiency in installing and upgrading Oracle databases across versions 19c, 18c, 12c, and 11g.
• Working experience in a 24/5 production environment.
