What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain performance testing frameworks and automated test suites.
• Lead performance analysis efforts, identify system bottlenecks, and partner with engineering teams on remediation.
• Develop realistic performance test scenarios based on production usage patterns and requirements.
• Generate high-quality performance reports with actionable recommendations and communicate findings.
• Establish and enforce performance standards, SLAs, and best practices across teams.
• Support integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and advocate for continuous performance validation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing or engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major performance testing tool (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, K6, Locust, LoadRunner).
• Solid programming or scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API performance, databases, caching, and networking fundamentals.
• Proven ability to analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
• Experience testing high-traffic or mission-critical applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with APM/observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace).
• Experience with containerized and cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Background in SRE, capacity planning, chaos engineering, or reliability optimization.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems, streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar), or microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo).
