Senior Software Engineer (Go)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Go): Building new dynamic features for a Network Observability product suite with an accent on architecture design, security protocols, and automated testing frameworks. Focus on leveraging open-source technologies, coordinating with internal teams, and providing technical leadership.

Location: Hybrid in Belgrade, Serbia. Initial technical and HR interviews will be conducted on-site in Belgrade during a job fair (February 23–27).

What you will do

• Understand and create architecture and design diagrams for new services.
• Leverage open source technologies and open standards for service delivery.
• Design and build dynamic services for the Network Observability platform.
• Implement effective security protocols and data protection measures.
• Develop automated testing frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong backend development experience with a focus on high-quality, maintainable code.
• Proven experience leveraging open source and open technologies.
• Proficiency in Golang development.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs using any framework.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry and gRPC.
• Database architecture and data modeling experience.
• Knowledge of network technologies such as SNMP, NetFlow, and APIs.
• Linux systems experience.
• Familiarity with Cloud and container platforms (Kubernetes, AWS).
• Experience with Java and/or Python.
