Senior Data Analyst (Edtech)

TL;DR

Senior Data Analyst (Edtech): Building robust, scalable data products to be strategic partner to the business with an accent on designing data solutions that are reliable and reusable. Focus on proactively identifying opportunities to improve how data is consumed, governed, and operationalized.

Location: Remote / Flexible (we are open to candidates being based in the UK, or in Europe (+/- 3 hours GMT))

What you will do

• Partner closely with business and leadership stakeholders to understand objectives and long-term priorities.
• Lead the design and development of robust data products such as standardized dashboards, metric layers, and analytical models.
• Define and document core metrics, KPIs, and data definitions to ensure consistency and trust across teams.
• Balance short-term business needs with a long-term analytics vision, reducing one-off analyses and technical debt.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve how data is consumed, governed, and operationalized.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong ability to translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with both standardized clean datasets and unstructured imperfect raw data.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards, semantic layers and analytical products.
• Strong data storytelling and communication skills, including presenting trade-offs and recommendations.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and pushing back constructively when needed.
