Senior Legal Counsel (GTM)

TL;DR

Senior Legal Counsel (GTM): Draft, review, and negotiate complex B2B commercial agreements, including SaaS, MSA, and DPAs, with an accent on identifying risks throughout the customer lifecycle and suggesting pragmatic solutions. Focus on advising the GtM team on a wide variety of complex commercial legal matters and supporting the improvement of internal processes.

Location: Hybrid work is required, with team members coming into the office twice a week in one of hirify.global's European office locations (UK, Germany, Netherlands, or Poland).

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex B2B commercial agreements, including SaaS, MSA, and DPAs.
• Work on public sector and agentic AI (hirify.global Agent) matters.
• Provide the GtM team with experienced advice on a wide variety of complex commercial legal matters, identifying risks and suggesting pragmatic solutions.
• Support the improvement of internal processes within the GtM organization.
• Develop and maintain templates and draft/conduct training for GtM and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Fully qualified UK or German counsel or comparable with at least seven years of experience working in internal legal departments, preferably in a technology company.
• Experience in reviewing and confidently negotiating B2B and SaaS contracts.
• Good knowledge of UK and German law.
• Excellent communication skills with different target groups and hierarchical levels.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload according to risks and company requirements in time-sensitive matters.
• Willingness to work in a highly demanding, fast-changing, and fast-paced environment with a business mindset, openness, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with contracts under US or Japanese law.
• Additional language skills (e.g., German).
