TL;DR

Staff Software Developer (Golang): Building and optimizing backend services for a network observability suite with an accent on architecture design, security protocols, and automated testing. Focus on leveraging open source technologies, gRPC, and OpenTelemetry for dynamic service creation.

Location: Hybrid (Belgrade, Serbia) with required on-site interviews for shortlisted candidates.

What you will do

  • Understand and/or create architecture design diagrams.
  • Leverage open source and open standards to deliver new services with minimal coding.
  • Create a new dynamic service for Network Observability.
  • Implement effective security protocols and data protection measures.
  • Implement automated testing harness to fully exercise new services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to train and support new technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge and history of leveraging open source and open technology.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • Golang and REST API integration experience using any framework.

Nice to have

  • Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry and gRPC.
  • SNMP, Netflow, API.
  • Linux.
  • Java, Python.
