What you will do
- Design, build, and ship production-grade GenAI features.
- Own GenAI features end-to-end, from system design and LLM integration through production deployment and iteration.
- Build and maintain reusable GenAI platform components including LLM orchestration, prompt management, evaluation, observability, and cost controls.
- Establish best practices for building, testing, and operating GenAI systems reliably in production.
- Enable product engineering teams to ship GenAI-powered features through shared infrastructure, documentation, and hands-on support.
- Make architectural decisions that balance speed, scalability, reliability, and cost across AI-driven systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend or platform engineering experience building production systems.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience shipping GenAI or ML-powered features into production (not just prototypes).
- Strong system design skills, with experience designing distributed, reliable, and observable services.
- Proficiency in modern languages and frameworks (i.e Python, Flask, TypeScript, React) with experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Comfort making architectural decisions when industry best practices are still emerging.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM frameworks, orchestration tools, or model evaluation techniques.
- Background in data platforms, event-driven systems, or real-time pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers, and CI/CD.
- Experience enabling other teams through platform or developer-experience work.
