What you will do

• Perform quality control tasks (EN > FR), transcreation/translation/post-editing tasks (EN > FR), and other linguistic tasks (EN > FR) on assigned projects.
• Manage project-related queries and ensure good interaction among team members, resolving questions on terminology and language matters.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain language materials (including glossaries, Style Guides, work instructions) up to the quality standards and up to date.
• Interact with clients on linguistic matters as required.
• Develop and train new and existing freelancers according to the accounts’ and hirify.global’s needs.
• Participate in the development of new and improved working processes.

Requirements

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages and related experience as translator and/or reviewer of 3+ years.
• Fluent in French (native level), both written and spoken, fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experienced as a translator in: Mobile Apps, Search Engines, IT Consumer products, Entertainment, Marketing, Software UI, Websites.
• Excellent knowledge of terminology in the following subject matters: IT consumer products, social media, entertainment.
• Excellent user experience of standard software, such as Windows and Office applications, and standard CAT tools (e.g. SDL Studio) and issue tracking and query management tools, e.g. JIRA.
