What you will do
- Serve as the main contact for handling user support requests and system issues.
- Investigate, replicate, and clearly document bugs and data irregularities.
- Manually test new features, fixes, and updates to ensure quality before release.
- Create and maintain clear test cases, release notes, and user support documentation.
- Collaborate with developers to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
- Monitor data accuracy and consistency within the system's MySQL database.
- Take part in regression testing during release cycles to ensure overall system stability.
Requirements
- Background in support, quality assurance, or testing within a software or data-focused setting.
- Good knowledge of manual testing processes and how to track and manage bugs.
- Basic skills in SQL (ideally MySQL) and the ability to explore and analyze data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to work well with technical teams and non-technical users.
- Well-organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with testing web front-end applications, especially those built with Vue.js.
- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools like JIRA or GitHub Issues.
- Understanding of financial systems, business processes, or internal operational tools.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
