TL;DR

Senior Korean Linguist: Managing translation and copy-editing tasks to ensure high-quality Korean-language deliverables with an accent on terminology, style, and language resource management. Location: Must be available to work within PST business hours (9:00–17:00)

Salary: $56,000 - $80,000 a year

What you will do

• Perform copy-editing and on-demand translation tasks.
• Manage language materials such as glossaries and style guides.
• Manage project-related queries and ensure good team interaction.
• Coordinate with freelancers, agencies, and internal linguists.
• Participate in the development of new and improved working processes.
• Meet or exceed key performance metrics related to productivity, on-time delivery, and quality.

Requirements

• Education: University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Native-level proficiency in Korean.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing, with 5+ years in linguistic review and copy-editing.
• Excellent knowledge of terminology used across various subject matters.
• Excellent user experience with standard CAT tools (e.g., XTM, SDL Trados Studio) and with issue-tracking and query-management tools (e.g., JIRA).
