Android Developer (Gamedev): Developing and maintaining Android applications for a data-driven football platform with an accent on writing clean, scalable, and well-tested code. Focus on improving performance through troubleshooting and debugging while staying updated with the latest Android technologies.

Location: Hybrid work (Porto)

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain Android applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, backend, product).
Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code.
Troubleshoot and debug to improve performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Android Developer.
Strong knowledge of Kotlin (and/or Java).
Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of testing frameworks is a plus.

Nice to have

Experience with Compose.
Knowledge of cloud services (Firebase, AWS, etc.).
Published apps available on Google Play.
