What you will do

• Develop and build the department’s deep technical expertise.
• Lead the Java development team and ensure high-quality solutions for project delivery.
• Conduct technical interviews, manage team performance, and identify training needs.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including estimation, consulting, and client communication.
• Represent hirify.global at conferences and shape the strategic direction of Java expertise.
• Drive technological growth through modern tools, best practices, and innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial Java development experience and strong ecosystem understanding.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and modern technologies.
• Experience leading development teams and building efficient processes.
• Strong performance management and team development skills.
• Full-cycle pre-sales experience from requirement discovery to expert consulting.
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) English for client communication and international events.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Java-based CMS/ERP platforms (Alfresco, Liferay, Netsuite, etc.).
• Knowledge of Scala and its frameworks (Play, Lift, Chaos).
