What you will do

• Architect, design, implement, and test highly scalable products for the Agentforce platform.
• Improve development processes, culture, and codebase within the team.
• Present and review designs with internal and external groups.
• Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit/functional tests.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex production problems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, influencing architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with web standards and technologies including REST, HTTP, WebSockets, Redis, and API lifecycle management.
• Expertise in relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience in automated testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, and Selenium.
• Ability to work in-person three days per week in San Francisco or Palo Alto, California.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with building and delivering highly scalable cloud systems using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing modern, component-based user interfaces with React or similar technologies.
• Experience working with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
