What you will do

• Integrate various third-party APIs (REST, Google Places, Meta, OpenStreetMap).
• Process, clean, validate, and model diverse data from multiple sources and formats.
• Design, develop, and integrate secure, scalable, and performant APIs with other software systems.
• Ensure high quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Contribute to a supportive environment by promoting personal and team wellbeing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, Kotlin, or Go.
• Experienced in working with SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experienced in working with message queues & async processing (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Proven experience with API development and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work efficiently on highly scalable and distributed projects.

Nice to have

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
