Staff Software Engineer, Ecosystem

TL;DR

Staff Software Engineer (Ecosystem): Establishing the technical vision of hirify.global's apps platform and building the developer tools needed to enable a community of ecosystem developers. Focus on designing, implementing, and running critical services and products for the ecosystem, and mentoring senior engineers.

Location: Must be based out of San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Bangalore, Hyderabad, London, or New York and expected to come into the office 3-days a week.

Salary: $270,000 to $300,000 plus equity.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the architecture of highly secure, scalable, reliable and performant systems.
• Identify dependencies and review key designs to ensure consistency with architecture and support for the business.
• Lead the team to deliver on multiple projects in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Build an operational center of excellence with effective observability, scale and performance considerations, and a focus on quality.
• Partner with senior Engineering Managers and product leaders to prioritize work and create a balanced roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, drive engineering initiatives, and create broad organizational impact.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong experience with relevant industry standards in the ecosystem space (auth, scopes, etc.).
• 10+ years of experience hands on coding and familiarity with common programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS).
• 10+ years of engineering experience building end-end back end services.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects with a meaningful impact on the business.
• Exceptional problem solving, design, and analytical skills.
