TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Ecosystem): Building scalable, reliable, and performant systems for hirify.global's ecosystem, enabling thousands of developers to build apps with an accent on API extensibility, security, and integration with third-party applications. Focus on developing 0-1 products, end-to-end feature ownership, and ensuring a high-quality bar for complex distributed systems.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States. Employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.

Salary: $200,000–$240,000 base salary plus competitive equity package.

What you will do

  • Build scalable, reliable, and performant systems that cater to the needs of thousands of ecosystem developers and millions of users.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to build ecosystem capabilities for next-generation apps.
  • Create and review technical specifications, providing feedback to developers.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for features, from development to deployments, ensuring a high quality bar.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience working on Java, NodeJS, ReactJS or similar technologies.
  • 8+ years of experience building backend or full stack services.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience building scalable distributed systems.
  • Keen focus on quality and velocity, with the ability to be self-driven.
