TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Sales): Generating meetings and creating pipelines by identifying and engaging with key prospects at target accounts with an accent on inbound lead conversion, outbound prospecting, and multichannel outreach. Focus on cold calling, tailoring messaging to senior stakeholders, and maintaining accurate activity and pipeline tracking.

Location: Remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in New York City or Austin, TX.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 base + commission (~$90,000–$100,000 OTE) for NYC candidates.

What you will do

  • Convert inbound leads and qualify "in-market" opportunities.
  • Prospect into assigned target accounts and self-source new opportunities.
  • Regularly cold call and run multichannel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn).
  • Research accounts, identify buyers, and tailor messaging.
  • Build sequences to create urgency and drive replies.
  • Partner with Account Executives on account strategy and next steps.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated self-starter with a history of hitting ambitious targets.
  • Possess grit and resilience, staying consistent through rejection and learning fast.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and using the phone as a primary channel.
  • Confidently engage senior stakeholders and build trust quickly.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and quick execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactively improving plays, messaging, and process.
  • Strong time management to balance multiple priorities and challenging targets.
  • English: B2 required.

Nice to have

  • 1+ years experience working in sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Prior Sales/SDR experience at a technology company.
  • Previous experience working with a technical audience.
  • Experience using sales productivity tools (e.g. Salesforce, Linkedin, GoogleSuite, Outreach, Apollo).
