Senior Developer Advocate (Agentic Postgres)

TL;DR

Senior Developer Advocate (Agentic Postgres): Building community around "agents are the new developers" via weekly SF meetups, daily demos, and a recipe library of one-shot prompts. Focus on teaching developers how to actually build with agentic tools and influencing the product roadmap.

Location: Bay Area — you'll co-host weekly "Agents & Coffee" meetups in SF, give talks at SF meetups weekly, and rep hirify.global at conferences globally.

What you will do

• Build recipes in Claude Code/Cursor showing what's possible with Agentic Postgres and iterate based on what lands.
• Co-host "Agents & Coffee" meetups in SF, give technical talks at Bay Area meetups, and create energy in rooms.
• Own the collection of one-shot prompts and demos, seed it, and get the community contributing.
• Partner with the CEO and founders on positioning and influence what we build and how we talk about it.
• Create technical content such as blogs, videos, and workshops that teach the architecture.
• Help manage our community presence, surface insights back to product and engineering, and be the bridge between developers building with agents and our internal teams.

Requirements

• Use agentic coding tools daily such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
• Ship fast and scrappy and be comfortable with daily demos that aren't perfect.
• Have built community from scratch and energized a subreddit or created momentum around a new idea.
• Thrive in person at meetups and hackathons and can adapt on the fly and handle logistics.
• Code comfortably in Python, Go, or JavaScript (and ideally SQL/Postgres).
• Believe agents are the new developers and want to help define what infrastructure for them looks like.
• Have 5+ years in developer advocacy or engineering and have participated in communities.
• Want strategic influence and are excited to co-write the playbook with leadership.
