Senior Devops Engineer (Gamedev)

Senior Devops Engineer (Gamedev): Responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure for a game development company, implementing automation frameworks and establishing robust CI/CD pipelines. Focus on optimizing performance and security measures while maintaining the highest SLA uptimes and increasing visibility of cloud estate and health metrics.

Location: Oxford or Warwick (UK) or fully remote

What you will do

• Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure in a LiveOps environment.
• Design and implement cloud architecture.
• Implement, maintain, and consolidate cloud testing and automation tools.
• Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures.
• Manage incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Work with code and build teams to ensure a streamlined workflow.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in DevOps at a Senior level.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies (AWS/Azure).
• Strong experience with containerising applications and maintaining containerised infrastructure (ECS, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes etc).
• Familiarity with CI / CD systems like Jenkins, GitLabCI, CircleCI etc.
• Experienced with version control systems like Perforce and git.
• A knowledge of creating and maintaining logging, monitoring and incident response technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pulumi and Microsoft PlayFab.
