Business/System Analyst

TL;DR

Business/System Analyst: Collaborating with the Product Owner and clients to refine requirements, define workflows, document API interactions, and support developers in delivering high-quality solutions with an accent on breaking down complex features into structured specifications. Focus on optimizing and simplifying business processes, workflows, and features.

Location: Work from the office in Lisbon. If you are not in Lisbon, relocation can be arranged to Lisbon, Portugal after the probation period. A relocation package is provided.

What you will do

• Work closely with PO and client to clarify and refine requirements.
• Break down business requirements into detailed technical specifications (user stories, process flows, data models).
• Define logical workflows and system interactions.
• Document API interactions and data flows.
• Assist developers with questions about requirements.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills – ability to break down complex features into structured specifications.
• Experience with requirement management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
• Experience with data modeling and documentation (UML, ERD, flow diagrams).
• Understanding of APIs and integrations.
• Experience with UX/UI (Figma).
• English: Advanced / Fluent

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Basic development knowledge.
• Ability to optimize and simplify business processes, workflows, and features.
