What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve internal AI tools that support teams across the company.
• Create and contribute to open-source tools that help AI developers build agents with PostgreSQL and hirify.global.
• Work closely with product, design, and other engineers to get from 0→1 fast and ship improvements as learning.
• Make decisions quickly and pivoting when needed.
• Bring a product-minded lens to internal tools.

Requirements

• Are a generalist engineer with 5+ years of experience.
• Care about helping other developers build faster.
• Have used AI in production to build agents, automate workflows, or prototype fast.
• Have solid backend skills (Go, Python, Postgres, etc.), but can jump into frontend if needed.
• Like to move quickly, take ownership, and figure things out without a 20-page brief.
• Are curious, humble, and default to action.

Nice to have

• Don’t feel comfortable learning and adapting on the fly — especially with AI workflows.
• Prefer to build alone vs. collaborate with product, internal teams, or external devs
