TL;DR

Senior Python Developer (Generative AI): Designing, developing, and maintaining Python microservices with FastAPI on Google Cloud Platform with an accent on system performance, scalability for high-traffic applications, and integrating Generative AI solutions. Focus on building robust microservice architectures and ensuring cloud scalability and reliability.

Location: Remote from Ukraine (Kyiv) or Poland (Warsaw)

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain Python microservices using FastAPI.
Build scalable backend systems on Google Cloud Platform.
Ensure system performance and scalability to support 100k+ monthly active users.
Integrate and maintain Generative AI solutions within backend services.
Collaborate on architecture decisions, cloud infrastructure, and best practices.
Contribute to code quality, security, and performance optimization.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial experience working with Python.
2+ years of hands-on experience with FastAPI.
Proven experience building microservice architectures.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience designing and scaling systems for high-traffic applications.
Familiarity with Generative AI integrations (LLMs, APIs, or AI-powered services).
Strong understanding of cloud scalability, monitoring, and reliability.
Ability to work independently and take ownership at the early project stage.
English: Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines on GCP.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
