What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of team’s deliverables.
• Mentor and guide senior individual contributor engineers within your team.
• Help your team improve their performance and maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with Recruiting to support the global growth of the engineering organization.
• Communicate effectively with developers, product managers, customers, partners, and other leaders.

Requirements

• Must be based in Yerevan, Armenia.
• 2+ years of experience managing small to medium software development teams in an agile environment.
• 8+ years of experience in senior engineering roles (designing APIs, abstractions, and tools).
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs) and relational/other databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of distributed software systems architecture best practices.
• B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Typescript and React.
