TL;DR

Strategic Account Director (AI/SaaS): Driving growth and retention for high-touch enterprise accounts with an accent on strategic planning and on-site client engagement. Focus on influencing product development, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, and scaling foundational customer success structures.

Location: Must be based in Austin, requiring on-site client engagement at least once a week and weekly local travel within a two-hour drive.

Salary: $250K OTE (60/40 split between base and variable compensation).

What you will do

  • Drive growth and retention by prospecting, developing, and closing upsell, cross-sell opportunities, and contract renewals.
  • Partner with hirify.global product and executive teams to develop and execute long-term success plans.
  • Lead a portfolio of 5-10 key accounts, providing personalized, high-touch support and strategic guidance.
  • Be present with clients on-site at least once a week to build trust and understand evolving goals.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally, providing insights to Product, Finance, and Engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Strategic Customer Success or Key Account Management, preferably in high-growth B2B SaaS startups.
  • Proven track record managing a few large, complex accounts with $1M+ in ARR or equivalent scope.
  • Skilled at working consultatively with executive stakeholders, operations leaders, and contributors.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership without needing constant direction.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, ensuring customer feedback is integrated into product and service enhancements.
  • Comfortable with weekly local travel for regular in-person meetings, drop-ins, and trainings within a two-hour drive.
