What you will do

• Architect, develop, and optimize modern web applications with a focus on the backend.
• Manage the complete development lifecycle from requirements analysis to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and other engineering teams to refine system architecture.
• Establish best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and system optimization.
• Contribute to technical decisions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development with modern backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python).
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable, high-performance web applications and implement effective optimization strategies.
• Experience in agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Proficiency in backend frameworks and the integration of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and caching techniques.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a passion for clean, maintainable code.
• Fluency in English and good command of German.
