Senior Java Developer

TL;DR

Senior Java Developer (Java/Microservices): Design and develop high-load microservices for a live-streaming platform with an accent on stability, performance, and code quality. Focus on microservice architecture patterns, distributed systems, and maintaining services in production environments.

Location: Onsite in Kyiv, Ukraine

What you will do

• Work in a SCRUM team to design and develop high-load microservices.
• Write high-quality code and ensure its test coverage.
• Maintain services in production, ensuring stability and performance.
• Provide code review for teammates.
• Contribute to the Company’s development processes and practices.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java 8+ and Spring framework.
• Understanding of microservice architecture patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, REST, and messaging systems.
• Ability to cover code by different types of tests.
• Experience with Git and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• English: Intermediate+ required

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, MySQL, Redis, Aerospike.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in high-load systems.
