What you will do
- Design and build scalable backend systems to handle high-load, low-latency environments.
- Develop and maintain modular microservices that connect with internal APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Optimize database performance on large datasets (MySQL/PostgreSQL) using indexing, partitioning, and sharding.
- Implement efficient caching strategies with Redis to reduce response times and system load.
- Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to backend architectural decisions, refactoring plans, and technology stack evolution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in PHP (Laravel) and RESTful API development.
- Proficient with MySQL/PostgreSQL including query optimization and large-volume data operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in Redis or similar caching technologies.
- Experience handling high-traffic systems and scaling backend infrastructure under load.
- Solid understanding of system design principles, microservices, and queue-based architectures.

- Strong security awareness — understanding of OWASP guidelines and best practices for securing backend services.
- A mindset for continuous performance tuning and cost-optimization in cloud-native environments.
