What you will do
- Manage public procurement procedures for Belgian and EU (semi-)public sector clients, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Drive bid governance, communication, and alignment across multiple workstreams, managing the full bid lifecycle.
- Analyze tender requirements to create win strategies and value propositions in collaboration with the "Deal team".
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Delivery, and Solution Architecture.
- Contribute to pre- and post-sales activities, such as opportunity identification and win/loss reviews.
- Continuously improve bid management processes and promote knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requirements
- University degree in IT, Business, Procurement (or a related discipline) or equal through professional experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management, Procurement, or comparable roles.
- Mandatory professional experience in projects or public tenders for the Belgian and/or Dutch (semi-)public sector and/or EU Institutions.
- Native or C2-level proficiency in Dutch and C2-level proficiency in English is a must. Active knowledge of French (minimum B1 level) and/or any additional European language is a plus.
- Ability to clearly articulate recommendations and positions in senior management discussions.
- Proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Nice to have
- Experience in sales support, deal shaping, pipeline management, negotiation fundamentals, and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with Professional Services environments (such as outsourcing, system integration, or consulting).
- Understanding of current/emerging technology trends, including AI, Cloud, and Security.
- Experience managing large, complex, multi-million-euro bids with multiple workstreams and international stakeholders.
