What you will do

• Design, build, automate, and operate data platforms and pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure, monitoring, and recovery routines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and designers.
• Work on diverse projects, domains, and business cases (e.g., media data architecture, real-time chat spam detector for gaming, governmental data accessibility).
• Guide clients with a consultant mindset and support sales initiatives.

Requirements

• Several years of work experience in data engineering.
• Experience with data stack on AWS (RedShift, Glue, Athena) or Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
• Strong know-how in building, deploying, and orchestrating data infrastructure (e.g., serverless computation, Sagemaker, CI tools, Terraform) with a DevOps mindset.
• Excellent understanding of relational, document, and key-value databases.
• Practical software experience with Python or Java.
• Fluent in Finnish and English (C1+).
