Staff Engineer, Data Science (AI): Developing and designing overall AI/ML solutions, including architecture, frameworks, and high-level designs with an accent on generative AI fundamentals, RAG, and ML pipelines. Focus on converting business requirements into technical designs, mentoring team members, and ensuring extensibility, scalability, and security of applications.

Location: Must be based in South Asia, with a requirement to travel onsite once a month.

What you will do

• Write and review high-quality code.
• Convert client business use cases and technical requirements into elegant technical designs.
• Identify and narrow down the best technical solutions, defining guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements.
• Develop and design overall solutions, defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
• Review architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, and best practices.
• Mentor team members, empowering them to be solution providers.

Requirements

• Experience in Machine Learning Fundamentals, Data Analysis & Visualization, Statistics & Probability.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI fundamentals, RAG, and text to SQL.
• Proficiency in Python or R for Data Science.
• Experience in Classification-regression, Forecasting, Anomaly detection, Predictive analysis, NLP, and Recommendation Systems.
• Experience in Data science on AWS/Azure/GCP and creating ML pipelines using Airflow.
• Exposure to model deployment using Docker/Kubernetes and strong troubleshooting skills.
