Sales Manager (AI): Managing and growing high-performing business development teams to exceed sales targets and expand hirify.global’s customer base for legal AI technology with an accent on team coaching, sales metrics accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on developing sales strategies, improving processes with new technologies like AI, and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hybrid role based in Vancouver or Toronto, Canada, with a minimum of two office days per week.

Salary: $82,600–$124,000 CAD (plus commission $44,500–$66,700 CAD)

What you will do

  • Manage and grow high-performing business development teams to exceed sales targets.
  • Identify areas for improvement and actively coach and develop team members.
  • Recruit for ongoing and future headcount needs, ensuring team accountability to sales metrics and KPIs.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategies.
  • Collaborate with business operations to analyze results and improve systems, processes, and programs.
  • Participate in leadership of the Hub office as required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success as a top-performing salesperson and team leader/manager.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience developing sales teams through regular 1:1s, training, and coaching.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth technology companies.
  • A track record of developing people and building high-velocity sales teams.
  • Extraordinary communication and organizational skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • A competitive and growth mindset, especially regarding AI and process improvement.

Nice to have

  • Sales experience and training at a leading tech/IT company.
  • Experience at a SaaS company.
  • Experience with cold calling and cold outreach.
  • Strong understanding of sequencing and cadences (Salesloft/Outreach).
