TL;DR

Field Sales Account Manager (Tax & Accounting Software): Owning and growing a dedicated customer base and acquiring new logos with an accent on value-based selling, account management, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on building and managing a sales pipeline, developing long-term customer relationships, and representing customer needs to product management.

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month) in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role requires local presence in Gothenburg to ensure improved customer coverage in the region.

What you will do

  • Own and grow a dedicated customer base through renewals, upsell, and cross-sell.
  • Win new business and acquire new logos, contributing approximately 30% to new business growth.
  • Source opportunities, build pipelines through proactive outreach, and manage longer sales cycles.
  • Sell a broad tax and accounting portfolio, including software and training services.
  • Articulate value and handle price objections with strong commercial reasoning and ROI storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer support, professional services, and product management to deliver customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B experience with customer-facing responsibility, ideally at least 2 years in a relevant sales role.
  • Comfort selling to a range of stakeholders from sole practitioners to enterprise environments.
  • Basic business and finance understanding to discuss closing books, tax, and compliance processes credibly.
  • Ability to run structured sales cycles with patience and stamina.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English for customer and internal communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience in software or value-based solution selling.
  • Familiarity with the Swedish tax and accounting ecosystem.
  • Background in accounting, audit, or tax with strong customer-facing capability.
  • Personal traits including a hunter mindset, humble and consultative style, and entrepreneurial ownership.
