What you will do

• Design, build, test, scale, monitor, and maintain secure infrastructure in AWS and Azure multi-cloud environments.
• Develop and operate infrastructure as code for repeatable and scalable system provisioning.
• Participate in technical discussions and provide constructive design reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product and application engineering teams to deliver developer-friendly infrastructure abstractions.
• Participate in on-call rotations to improve system reliability and address operational issues.
• Drive reduction of technical debt and operational toil through automation and roadmap planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years engineering cloud infrastructure for microservice-based production systems with focus on performance, reliability, security, and cost.
• Experience with Python, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS services, Terraform, and HCL.
• Experience with on-call rotations and incident response for production-grade systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• Location: Must be based in Canada or USA to work remotely.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bash, Golang, Terragrunt.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and AI-first workflows.
• Prior experience building large-scale infrastructure-as-code abstractions.
• AWS certifications.
