Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with a flexible policy allowing temporary work abroad for up to 3 weeks per year (max 2 consecutively) with manager approval.

Salary: €85.000 – €120.000 gross annual

What you will do

• Create a trusted performance framework to link operational reliability, forecast accuracy, and trading results to financial outcomes.
• Develop and maintain the single source of truth for Mission-Critical performance across Assets, VPP, Finance, and Trade.
• Translate business questions into measurable analytics deliverables, guiding stakeholders in problem definition and prioritization.
• Act as a strategic partner to the Product Manager in defining and tracking health metrics (KPIs, OKRs, North Star metrics).
• Identify new metrics and reliable data sources, collaborating with Data Engineers on data model and pipeline design.
• Share regular actionable insights with stakeholders across various departments and leadership to drive informed decisions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree with a strong quantitative or technical focus.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or product analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt or similar data-modelling tools.
• Experience in data visualization and dashboarding, preferably in Power BI.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Proven ability to connect operational metrics to commercial outcomes.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, including experience presenting to leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, forecasting, trading, or performance analytics.
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
