Senior .Net Software Engineer

TL;DR

Senior .NET Software Engineer: Contributing to the development and integration of the Asset Optimization domain with an accent on building scalable and reliable backend solutions and integrating various systems. Focus on handling a lot of data flows that support real-time trading decisions and optimal planning of assets.

Location: Must be based in the Netherlands

Salary: €80,000 - €110,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services and integrations in .NET/C#.
• Support the integration and preparing all data for the optimization and trading tools.
• Contribute to the planning and portfolio optimization domain.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Python developers, frontend developers, testers, and product managers.
• Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of digital solutions.

Requirements

• Solid experience with .NET/C# and backend development.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native development (Azure preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Know how to write performant, maintainable, scalable, secure and highly available microservices.
• Based in the Netherlands and fluent in English.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across disciplines.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with Python, especially in optimization or analytics use cases.
• Familiarity with Vue.js or other frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with observability, SLIs and SLOs.
• Knowledge of energy trading or planning systems.

• Gross annual salary between €80.000 and €110.000 including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance.
