Location: Remote. The team is based in London.

What you will do

  • Perform manual testing of product features with a primary focus on backend functionality, APIs, and data flows.
  • Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Validate business logic and data consistency by writing and executing SQL queries.
  • Inspect request/response flows using proxy tools.
  • Proactively identify quality gaps and contribute to the evolution of internal QA processes.
  • Support regression testing for mobile applications as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of manual QA experience focused on web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques and client-server architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
  • Ability to write SQL queries for backend validation.
  • English: B2 level or higher and fluency in Russian required.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
  • Familiarity with automation tools or AI-assisted testing.
  • Previous experience in product-led or marketing-driven environments.
