What you will do

• Lead design and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning solutions for complex client challenges.
• Analyze large, diverse datasets to extract actionable insights in credit risk, fraud analytics, and customer behavior.
• Work with large-scale credit data, ensuring data integrity, cleaning, and transformation for analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into client solutions.
• Drive pre-sales activities, assess client needs, and develop tailored solution concepts.
• Manage and deliver analytical projects from scoping through execution, ensuring high quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or consulting, ideally with a focus on credit risk, fraud analytics, or marketing analytics.
• Proven expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining; proficiency with Python, Pyspark or equivalent.
• Profound knowledge of requirements and analytical use cases in the insurance industry.
• Fluency in German and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms and data visualization tools.
