TL;DR
Account Executive (Banking): Driving revenue growth and new business acquisition for Engine within North America with an accent on consultative sales and market expansion. Focus on defining and executing sales strategies, generating leads, and managing commercial relationships in a highly competitive and regulated market.
Location: This role will be based in the New York metropolitan area and our preference is that you're located within a commutable distance to our New York office. Other East Coast locations may be considered. The role will involve travel within the US and some international travel.

What you will do
- Contribute to winning new business and driving revenue growth for Engine within North America.
- Define, build, and execute tailored sales strategies for target segments.
- Spearhead lead generation and contribute to brand awareness in the market.
- Support early-stage conversations, client workshops, and opportunity qualification.
- Manage commercial and contractual conversations.
- Collaborate with Engine teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in business development, partnerships, or revenue-focused roles in Banking, Fintech, or SaaS with proven pipeline conversion.
- Experience working with Banks and Credit Unions serving consumers and small businesses is a must.
- Experience working within the broader financial services ecosystem (payments, lending).
- Good grasp of the US regulatory and legislative landscape.
- Strong understanding of the banking technology landscape including digital, core banking, FinCrime, Cards, Payments, data, and cloud infrastructure.
- Track record of building 0 to 1 sales and high-performance.
- Excellent networker and executive presence, strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communicator and ability to adapt style to different stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated and self-starter.
