TL;DR

Vice President, Brand Strategy & Governance: Defining, governing, and advancing the brand identity across all business units, channels, and experiences with an accent on design, creative direction, messaging, and content standards. Focus on leading Design, Content, and Media teams to build a high-performing brand engine.

Location: Must be based in Chicago, Illinois

Salary: $160,000-$180,000 plus bonus plan eligibility

What you will do

  • Own the enterprise brand strategy, positioning, architecture, and identity across all business units.
  • Function as the chief creative authority ensuring consistency of brand tone, voice, visual identity, and experience across all communications.
  • Lead and develop the Design, Content, and Media teams, ensuring excellence in creativity, storytelling, execution, and alignment.
  • Oversee enterprise content strategy including storytelling, editorial voice, messaging frameworks, and audience-based narratives.
  • Collaborate with Director of Demand to ensure paid media, social media, broadcast, and digital advertising programs are consistent on brand expression and maximum ROI.
  • Influence end-to-end customer experience to ensure every touchpoint aligns to brand promise.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of brand leadership experience, preferably within B2B services, technology, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Demonstrated success leading brand strategy, identity systems, creative teams, and multi-channel brand campaigns.
  • Deep expertise in creative direction and design leadership.
  • Proven experience managing and elevating enterprise brand governance models.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and strategic leadership.
