Software Engineer Intern

TL;DR

Software Engineer Intern (Fullstack): Contributing to various projects spanning frontend, backend, full-stack, and mobile engineering with an accent on shipping features to tens of millions of users. Focus on helping Superhuman tackle interesting technical challenges and gain real-world experience.

Location: Must be based in Berlin and be able to collaborate in person at least 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Work on an end-to-end Engineering challenge that directly relates to your team’s high-level goals.
• Ship code within your first few weeks.
• Iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment and leverage your unique perspective to provide valuable feedback on product direction.
• Partner with a mentor to scope, design, and execute on a fully formed project over the duration of your internship.
• Get your hands on a variety of APIs, frameworks, and programming languages.
• Learn from all the challenges that come from shipping a product to tens of millions of daily active users.

Requirements

• Can collaborate in person in our Berlin hub at least two days per week.
• Is available for the entire duration of a twelve-week program.
• Is currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Has strong computer science fundamentals.
• Has proficiency in at least one programming language (Superhuman’s engineering tech stack includes Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or Go).
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, especially as it relates to technical collaboration.
• Is excited to learn!
• Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
