What you will do
- Create high-quality Hair and Fur for character models, monsters, clothing, and accessories.
- Produce PBR textures following modern real-time pipelines.
- Import assets into the game engine and support other teams during integration.
- Work with the Outsource team, supporting external hair production.
- Participate in concept and design stages, contributing ideas and visual solutions.
- Collaborate with Animation to ensure assets meet deformation and rigging requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of AAA game development experience as a Character or Groom Artist.
- Strong skills in grooming, sculpting, modeling, and texturing.
- Proficiency in hair grooming tools (XGen, Ornatrix, Houdini, or similar), ZBrush, Substance Painter, Maya or 3ds Max.
- Strong understanding of PBR workflows and principles.
- Good knowledge of game engines, preferably Unreal Engine.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
Nice to have
- Experience with version control systems (SVN, Perforce) and bug-tracking tools (Jira or similar).
- Experience creating materials in Substance Designer.
- Scripting skills (Maya/Max or external tools).
