TL;DR

Modern Infrastructure Customer Solutions Architect (AI): Guiding customers through the modernization of their infrastructure by developing and setting in motion advanced Datacenter, AI, storage hybrid infrastructures, public cloud, and network infrastructure and security solutions with an accent on uncovering new opportunities and overcoming technological barriers. Focus on customizing solutions for customer needs and business goals using insights-driven sales processes.

Location: San Francisco, CA, US. Willingness and ability to travel frequently within a designated Sales District, up to 25% of the time.

Salary: $127,000 - $180,000 plus incentives for San Francisco. Other California locations offer different ranges.

What you will do

  • Grow and develop Hybrid IT Solutions and Services, including Data Center, Networking, and Public Cloud.
  • Leverage the Challenger Sales methodology and insights-driven sales processes to customize solutions.
  • Collaborate with District Sales Teams and Leaders to acquire new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain account and market penetration plans for assigned accounts.
  • Quarterback opportunities from assessing customer needs through closing deals and driving diversification.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with key Hybrid IT partners and vendors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience successfully selling technology solutions in dedicated sales or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Extensive experience aligning business objectives and initiatives with relevant technology requirements.
  • Proven track record in identifying, developing, and driving sales for legacy infrastructure environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco product lines and solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Data Center, hybrid cloud, and public cloud models, with experience across Azure, AWS, and Google.
  • Adept at building relationships and engaging with customer decision-makers involved in infrastructure modernization efforts.
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially in conveying complex modern infrastructure concepts.
  • Recognized demand generation capabilities, focused on proactive selling.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within a designated Sales District, up to 25% of the time.
