What you will do

• Act as a technical expert in automated testing for Java microservices.
• Coach developers to adopt strong unit, component, and contract testing practices early in the SDLC.
• Drive a microservices testing strategy including unit, component, contract, and maintainable end-to-end tests.
• Encourage local containerized service execution to avoid integration issues in a trunk-based development environment.
• Design and validate integration tests between Java services and AWS Lambda functions.
• Lead quality practices across multiple teams in a service family, working in Agile/Scrum and promoting BDD.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java development and test automation.
• Knowledge of microservices testing strategies.
• Solid AWS platform expertise, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience with CI/CD and trunk-based development.
• Ability to build and maintain automated tests using Java (JUnit, Rest-Assured) and Pact.
• Proficiency with UI testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright (where applicable).
