Lead Operational Risk Manager (Fintech): Leading risk management practices across the group, enhancing risk controls, and overseeing third-party risks, incident management, and regulatory reporting. Focus on driving automation initiatives for KRIs, developing risk models, and ensuring compliance with EU (DORA) and UK operational resilience requirements.

Location: Hybrid with encouraged 2 days a week in London, Athens or Cyprus office. The company also offers 45 work-from-anywhere days per year.

What you will do

• Lead operational risk management processes across the group on risk and control self-assessments.
• Actively oversee operational risk, including ICT and incidents, to identify root causes and monitor remediation.
• Collaborate with other control functions on regulatory and operational risk initiatives.
• Drive automation initiatives for monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Take ownership of risk-related areas in regulatory reporting, including ICARA and DORA register.
• Provide hands-on development of risk models involving market and operational risk, ensuring effective controls.
• Drive risk-related initiatives under EU (DORA) and UK requirements on Operational Resilience, including third-party risk management.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in risk management, preferably in banking and fintech.
• Strong working knowledge of operational risk and regulations such as DORA and/or Operational Resilience, outsourcing, and incident management.
• Prior experience in driving operational resilience-related implementation efforts.
• Prior experience in ICARA report preparation.
• Knowledge of risks associated with payments and investment services.

• Prior consulting experience in risk advisory.
