What you will do

• Launch and upgrade blockchain networks, including standups, hard forks, snapshots, and clean rollbacks.
• Automate infrastructure using modules, golden images, CI/CD, and zero-touch deployments across regions.
• Manage Kubernetes at scale, focusing on safe rollouts, HPA/VS/ingress tuning, and capacity/cost planning.
• Lead incident response, publish RCAs, and implement changes to prevent recurrence.
• Build monitoring and alerting systems that provide useful signals, not noise, using SLOs/error budgets and dashboards.
• Develop and extend tools for snapshots, replay/load testing, and state sync checks; occasionally patch client bugs and contribute upstream.

Requirements

• Linux and Kubernetes experience: Debugging real production issues, including networking, storage, and rollouts.
• IaC (Terraform/Helm/Ansible) skills: Shipping repeatable infrastructure instead of snowflakes.
• Go or Python (plus Bash) proficiency: Automating tasks and building small, sharp tools.
• Blockchain operations experience: Understanding JSON‑RPC internals and running/tuning RPC/validator nodes; performing log analysis.
• Observability skills: Defining SLOs/error budgets, and using Prometheus/Grafana for instrumentation.
• Networking fundamentals: Strong knowledge of DNS/TLS/LB, with the ability to reason about anycast/BGP when needed.
