What you will do

• Act as a key architectural voice in designing robust and scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product, design, and operations teams to build patient-centric telehealth experiences.
• Develop and maintain internal tooling for medical staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Iteratively build new features while balancing rapid prototyping with system stability and security.
• Provide technical mentorship and drive knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
• Take ownership of projects from discovery and system design through to implementation and monitoring.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar staff or senior role within startups or scale-ups.
• Fullstack proficiency with the ability to contribute to both frontend and backend codebases.
• Strong background in modern tech stacks including React, TypeScript, and Node or Go.
• Demonstrated experience leading full product lifecycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in New South Wales, Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Federated GraphQL and gRPC.
• Background in cloud infrastructure using GCP and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in the health-tech or high-scale consumer platform industries.
