What you will do
- Act as a key architectural voice in designing robust and scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product, design, and operations teams to build patient-centric telehealth experiences.
- Develop and maintain internal tooling for medical staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Iteratively build new features while balancing rapid prototyping with system stability and security.
- Provide technical mentorship and drive knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
- Take ownership of projects from discovery and system design through to implementation and monitoring.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar staff or senior role within startups or scale-ups.
- Fullstack proficiency with the ability to contribute to both frontend and backend codebases.
- Strong background in modern tech stacks including React, TypeScript, and Node or Go.
- Demonstrated experience leading full product lifecycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be based in or authorized to work in New South Wales, Australia.
Nice to have
- Experience with Federated GraphQL and gRPC.
- Background in cloud infrastructure using GCP and Kubernetes.
- Prior experience in the health-tech or high-scale consumer platform industries.
