What you will do
- Drive new business by identifying and prospecting higher education institutions.
- Partner with BDRs and Marketing to create and run targeted lead-generation campaigns.
- Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to showcase SaaS solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Lead contract negotiations and renewals.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B or B2G SaaS sales experience with a record of meeting targets.
- 2+ years of EdTech and/or Education experience within higher education.
- Experience with average contract values (ACV) of $50K+, including 6-figure deals.
- Ability to self-generate 40-50% (or more) of top-of-funnel opportunities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to simplify complex ideas and close strategic deals.
- CRM proficiency for managing sales pipelines and tracking performance.
